My semi traditional getaway the week following President's Day. This year saw me in Las Vegas briefly. Turning left at Beatty, Nevada, I traveled through Death Valley to Bishop, California. From there it was south on US 395 and then east again on I-40 and US 66. Yes, that Route 66.
