And it doesn't have anything to do with that football player guy.

Nope, that's the nickname I gave this particular pistol the first time I got to shoot it.

It's a Dan Wesson Model 15 that I purchased from the original owner in 1985.  Perhaps I was gearing up to defeat zombies far before it was fashionable?  Sadly, this one is not part of a Pistol-Pak, it just has the six inch barrel.  It sort of reminds me of the one the Great Humungus used in The Road Warrior.  Mine even has a little suitcase to tote it around in.

It shoots well enough that I was able to put six out of six on a steel chicken silhouette at 205 yards.  (a bit of holdover was dialed in on the scope)

Anyhow, I'm sharing it because it's the first decent picture of it that I have managed to take.  It's altogether shiny and angular.

BoomerBoomerA Dan Wesson Model 15 that I have owned since 1985 or so. After shooting it the first time, I nicknamed it Boomer. I do believe this was my second handgun purchase, the first being a well worn Smith & Wesson Model 19 that got traded away in Texas.
