Return of the CCO

It is back!  Going over time and over budget.

It started as a Colt OACP that looked like it had done two tours in Iraq.  I had some guidelines and a fair idea of how it would turn out.  After talking to the nice folks that did the work. (Alchemy Custom Weaponry, LINK) the only surviving parts were the frame and the slide stop.  So I essentially have an all new all steel CCO sized 1911 in .45 ACP

Internals are from Ed Brown, Les Baer, Greider, Wilson Combat, Cylinder and Slide, and EGW.

I stayed away from a lot of currently popular aesthetic treatments (crowned barrels, flush slide stop nubs, french borders, and serrations) opting for a more traditional look.  I did relent on the chain link treatment, though.

The grips are from Sarge's Grips, and the holster is a Zlogonje.
